+ How do I get my content on View From the Clouds?

After the sign-up process and once we have confirmed you are a registered CAA SUV pilot with a PfCO (Permission for Commercial Operation) licence. We will send you a link for uploading your content through Dropbox. We will also supply you with a Pro-forma document so that you can supply us with the content meta data, description, price and how many images you want to sell.

+ Why do I need to have a Permsission for Commercial Operation Licence?

As part of CAA regulatiosn and ANO 155 its states that only registered PfCO (Permission for Commercial Operation)licence holders are allowed to sell their content for commercial purposes

+ How do I get paid?

At the start of every calendar month we will issue you with your total sales volume minus View from the Cloud fees and will transfer your completed sales amount through BACS transfer.

+ Do View from the Clouds take a fee?

We've thought long and hard about this and we do incure costs for hosting and admin work we need to do for watermarking your content. As a result we've looked out into the market place and we will only take a 25% fee per transaction.

+ Are there any restictions or rules for me uploading content onto the site?

All that we ask is that you have had landowner permission for where you've taken of and landed and have their approval for selling this content.

We know Privacy is a big issue in our sector and if we see something that we think may not be appropriate to go onto the site, we will speak to you directly to come up with a solution.

+ How will I be notifed of the order that I make?

For each order you will have an email notification confirming the sale.

+ Can I sell my content If I reside from outwith the UK?

At this point we're only focusingon UK based pilots however we will look to expand as we mature as a business.

+ Data protection?

Your privacy and information is of the upmost importannce to us and we will not share you information with any third parties. Your infomation will be stored on a fully encrpyted secure server.

+ Do I need to be a Commercial SUV Pilot to sell my content?

No neescarly although most of our content and contributors are SUV Pilots, we do also weclome photographers to contribute.

+ How can I ensure my content doesn't just get ripped off?

all of your content will have a View from the Clouds watermark placed on it.
